Ukrainian venture capital fund Roosh Ventures has invested in Jump, a startup designed to improve working conditions for freelancers. The platform provides freelancers with benefits typically reserved for salaried employees, including social security, health insurance, corporate programs, and more. This news was shared on LinkedIn by IT entrepreneur and partner at Roosh Ventures, Serhii Tokarev. According to the announcement of the startup website, the total investment in Jump during its Series A round reached €11 million.
“We are excited to announce that Roosh Ventures has invested in the French startup Jump, which will significantly simplify the lives of freelancers,” Serhii Tokarev wrote.

About the Freelance Platform
Jump helps freelancers manage accounting and payroll. All contracts made through the platform provide access to credit, health insurance services, and social guarantees. Additionally, Jump offers tools for daily tasks, such as activity tracking, virtual cards, and payment systems.
“This startup handles nearly all the complex tasks, allowing freelancers to avoid distractions like payroll calculations, accounting, or benefits processing. It is a comprehensive solution that has the potential to become popular not only in France but also in other countries,” added Serhii Tokarev.
In its first year, Jump attracted €4 million in investments and quickly started gaining traction among freelancers. Today, nearly 2,000 freelancers use the platform, and it has an impressive annual turnover of €150 million. Jump’s growing popularity can be attributed to its user-friendly platform, which provides freelancers with benefits that are typically available only to salaried employees.
Jump aims to expand its services beyond France. The startup recently raised €11 million in a Series A funding round, which will be used to accelerate its growth and expand into new markets. Roosh Ventures, along with other prominent investors like Breega, Index Ventures, and Raise Ventures, is backing this expansion. The company plans to double its team by the end of the year as part of its efforts to popularize the platform, particularly among millennials and Gen Z freelancers, and to broaden its presence in France, the UK, and across Europe.
